We source these from several suppliers to gain an extensive range across the colour spectrum.  They are not frost resistent so are not suited for outdoor use in areas prone to frosts.

ROTTI MIX
These are a lot of irregular sized pieces and bull nosed cuts from the edge of the smalti pizza's.  I call it the treasures from the cutting room floor.  There are some colours not available in the range mixed in with these (eg 450gms mix on display).

PORCELAIN UNGLAZED TILES
For a truly earthy look, these are porcelain unglazed tiles.

SMALTI
This is handmade Italian Glass Smalti, made in the traditional methods passed down through the generations of the Orsoni family.  A range of 35 colours, approx 20x10x5mm.  The colours are so bold and vivid, like no other tile. 
Easily cut with wheeled glass nippers.

SMALTI SAMPLE BOARD
This gives you an idea of how smalti is used.  The pieces are glued close together and ungrouted.  Tiles are cut using wheeled glass cutters (see tool page).
